We would like to take this opportunity to thank the children, parents and staff for a successful term as the year comes to an end. As you know the staff are always busy organizing and developing the curriculum to nurture the children’s overall development. We have had a busy few months experiencing new learning and building on the children’s interests.

We enjoyed introducing our new friends in September and welcoming back our children who left us for the summer. In October we focused on Safe Cross Code and children learned all about road safety and also enjoyed our fancy dress up party and celebrated Halloween. In November we took part in nursery rhyme week and each room took part in learning nursery rhymes and acting out their favourite nursery rhymes. We even finished off with a pajama day with hot chocolate raising funds for local charities.  We are proud to say we raised €400.oo and again this is because of donations from parents and staff.

Although December is closing in, the fun does not stop. December will be full of Christmas cheer by celebrating with children and staff as we host our Christmas Jumper Day. We will serve Christmas dinner on the 21st Of December to all children  and staff. We will have a surprise visit from Santa too and not forgetting children will take part in a little Christmas presentation for our Facebook page.

It is evident that we had a busy term, highlighting snapshots of the Autumn and Winter term and without the support of our dedicated team it could not happen.  We would also like to acknowledge our recently developed wellness room for staff which helps staff relax during rest periods.

We are looking forward to see what 2024 will bring.
